BREEAM assessments, helping with tendering for procurement, providing input into the planning and building process, as well as assisting with achieving and maintaining EMS standards

> Site Waste Management Plans (SWMP)

Approximately 20% of all waste produced annually in the UK comes from the construction sector; it equates to 72 million tonnes.

The Site Waste Management Plans regulations should come into force in October 2007. EHS can help you meet your obligations. The methodology will be central to the management of waste on construction projects and can help realise significant cost and environmental benefits to both yourselves and the client organisation.

Not all details have been finalised, but standard SWMP's are likley for projects >£250K and detailed assessments will be required for those >£500K; enforcement will be handled by the Local Authorities and the Environment Agency, who will be able to levy fines for failure to make, keep or develop an SWMP
